In actual fact what we're trying to do is broaden the students' education about how film and television production takes place. (CS1)

People's whole careers are based on the feedback and the goodwill of the people they live with. (CS1)

They have to have approval from a couple of lecturing staff and from their client and then from that point they move on to a production proposal. We mark those and give them feedback and the client also looks at those and gives them feedback. (CS5)

We were experimenting with an online collaborative learning forum and we were experimenting for a couple of reasons. One of them was that we wanted to provide a space where students could dialogue, particularly when they don't have physical proximity to each other. Because many of the students were very far-flung in terms of where they were based in Sydney. We were also wanting to use it as a way of assessing process and a way of observing process for the staff and a way of delivering feedback. (CS6)

I feel a lot of the time with a lot of other group work in other courses your contribution is somewhat peripheral and what the whole group does at the end is really important and then you feel, well why am I working so hard when nobody... when it's going to be, I'm pulling everybody's grade up and it has nothing to do with me. But I felt the great thing about this course is for every time you give it's noticed. Every time you write something down in your logbook about things that you're trying ... this all goes to some big final idea of how well we did. It takes a lot of pressure off. (CS8)
